Welcome

20/03/2010

This is KnW: an online collaboration between two creative individuals, Steven Knowles & Daniel Wilson.

Why KnW?

KnW is a space for the digital meeting of these two dynamic talents. Their artwork has been gathering interest for several years, and when The Universe™ conspired to bring them together, something clicked.

Despite often being wildly different in appearance, the work of K & W is unified by a love of painting; of colour, of intention, of process. There is no question they also share a sense of humour; of fun, and playfulness that is so often missing in contemporary art.

The inspiring artwork they create can of course be purchased if still available, and both artists welcome commissions; If you have an idea that you’ve always wanted to realise, we can help too, producing bespoke canvas paintings & prints to order.

Please comment on The Wall with any remarks, questions, thoughts and general musings. We thankyou.

Mr W has been working hard with the lovely people at the brand new Wycombe Academy of Art & Music and is having a show of work for all of August.

The paintings & trains-in-frames on display are from the last decade, brought together in one place, and that place is an inspiringly zany venue; the independant bohemian antidote to contemporary corporate venues + galleries.  It is a place where there will be plenty of creative collaborations in the future, and yes, the website does look a bit like this one 🙂

Update 26/4/10

Reading Contemporary Art Fair

Stand Image

Thank you to everybody who came to see us at the show. It was a fantastic experience for the viewer and exhibitor alike. Both of us had a brilliant experience, we made some new friends, sold work and shared some discussions & ideas for future projects.

We’ve both been invited to take part in the Windsor Contemporary Art Fair later in the year but I suspect we’ll be involved in a few interesting collaborations over the forthcoming months.

Au Revoir for now!
